Hyper rage

My purse was stolen from work today.
List of contents I care about (or have so far remembered):

- Debit card
- Oregon ID card
- UO ID card
- Passport
- The total of my medication
- House key / garage keys
- Scheduler
- Drawing/Film-notes book
- All my makeup
- Mini-bag I've had since kindergarten
- d20
- butterfly knife

So ... basically everything my life consists of. SAVE FOR MY PHONE! I got away with my phone still. Gotta count my blessings. Or ... something. Anyway, this has incited new regulation for the storage of personal belongings at that Subway. Yay?

What's that? Beatles Rock Band and the Rock Band setup for free, you say? Yes please! ... Turns out the science library does in fact have a video game/console rental setup. Though, unfortunately, only registered UO groups can rent out the multiplayer band games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour. So... I've Facebook'd the president of the University Film Organization to ask that I rent it out under their name. It's kind of rude of me as I haven't had anything to do with the club in a year, but it was worth a try? Everyone my age in the club graduated and left anyway ... maybe that can be my excuse??? Guys? In the meantime I've rented one of the "newer" versions of DDR for the PS2 and a DDR pad. Needless to say I was mad and sweaty within minutes of coming home. Unghhh.

Star Trek: First Contact, weekly chores done, a job-interaction of sorts, and a boyfriend on the way ... why not feel content?

I've discovered a section of FFX that I've never explored before, which is quite refreshing as I've played the game about a zillion times. It's called the Omega Ruins, and according to the internet is one of the hardest sections of the game. I believe it. I now have to go back and re-do all I did in the past hour having been ambushed after not saving. Raises my heart-rate considerably, ha ha. The bonus room in which I play is down the hall from Spencer's bedroom, so now I hear her whistling the FFX battle music to herself, occasionally blending into little solos of her own. If any nerd were to visit, they'd be impressed.

I had to use a shameless amount of filters for my digital arts class yesterday (and then again tomorrow). I feel dirty. But at least now I have an excuse to use functions I otherwise never use...

I finally got Nox a heat lamp to go with his UV one. Though I think I needed to have gotten one that's hotter. The one I bought is 75w, and isn't quite cutting through the chill of our downstairs adequately. I think when the Petsmart guy recommended a wattage, he assumed I lived in a luxuriously heated home. I'm also having trouble clamping it to something...

Here's me sweating a lot: ''>_<''
Here's me sticking to shit with my sweat: |=(
Here's me feeling stupid for making my teacher think I'm dumb: D-8'
Here's me being done with footage capturing: (o( O o )o) ...actually that's more like a monkey, but oh well.

Pardon me, I have to peel things off that have adhered to me.....

Got that Sartre paper finished (started too, I guess). It went alright until the last little paragraph where I mention critiques from Beauvoir, at which point it all fell to shit. Ah well... guess that's done and over with. Al fin, Sartre.

The chain on my bike fell off as I was leaving to print my paper. I got really pissed but managed to fiddle with it enough to get it back on. I pinched my thumbnail in the process and the gears are making more clicking noises than before, but I made it to the library. At least the grease on my hands doesn't seem to be coming off onto my white keyboard.

Nox is trying to get out.

I think I'm going to listen to some acoustic Jason.

Galen's still a pretty cool guy.

I like Sartre better as a Marxist.
